About 100% Natural Merino
Merino wool is the natural choice for your baby’s safety and sleep quality.
We use 100% pure merino across our range of babywear and baby sleeping bags.
Unlike synthetics, merino breathes and in turn allows baby’s skin to breathe. Merino fibres create a microclimate around your baby’s body, absorbing and releasing moisture and trapping or circulating air as required to regulate body temperature throughout the night – especially when the air temperature drops in the early hours of the morning.
Merino wool adapts to the conditions all year round, keeping your baby warm in cold weather and cool in warmer months. This prevents overheating, an important risk factor associated with Sudden Infant Death Syndrome.
The superfine merino wool we use in our babywear is lightweight, soft and luxurious. It will not scratch or itch baby’s sensitive skin like traditional wool can.
In cool weather, layer our bodysuits and sleepsuits beneath a Bambino Merino sleeping bag to give your baby the safest and most comfortable night’s sleep – all night long.
Why choose merino?
•It is a breathable natural fibre
•It helps regulate baby’s body temperature
•It can (and should!) be worn all year round
•It won’t scratch, itch or irritate delicate skin
•It is fire resistant
•It is odour resistant so needs less washing
